I ordered a new Frigidaire frenchdoor refrigerator and paid for delivery and for my previous fridge to be removed. The delivery people were rude and negligent and destroyed my new floors, my front door, my door casing/trim, the molding and the fridge itself. Just look at the photos. We had just spent a lot of money to remodel our new home and were excited to move in when this happened.
What's worse, I put in a claim for damages with P.C.
Richard and they DENIED my claim. They completely deny any liability and left me with almost FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS in damages. I have never encountered such HORRIBLE customer service in my life and will never order from P.C.
Richard again -- and urge everyone else to do the same. Even if they're a little cheaper than other retailers, it's not worth the risk of destroying your home!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. PC Richards and son replaced the stove.
My issue was the fact that the item was opened without my consent. The item was slated to be shipped overseas which created the issue.
I bought a stove that was intended to be shipped overseas. Today, the stove was delivered.
The delivery people unpacked the stove without my consent. When I made a complaint to customer service, they were no help. Their response was, first, it's easier for them to deliver the stove that way. Then it was to make sure that it was not damaged.
I requested a new stove, fully packaged, only to be told no, it could not happen. So now the idea is that I have to pay to package something that should not have been unpacked.

This two-week timeline created substantial hidden costs that made the warranty protection questionable from a financial standpoint.
During the extended repair period, we had to:

- Purchase takeout meals for our family
- Deal with the general inconvenience of not having a functioning refrigerator
When factoring in the warranty cost plus these additional expenses, we likely would have come out ahead financially by simply hiring an independent repair technician who could have diagnosed and fixed the problem much more quickly.
While PC Richards employs well-intentioned people who genuinely try to help their customers, their warranty service suffers from operational inefficiencies that can end up costing customers more than anticipated. The company honors their commitments, but their slow turnaround times create indirect costs that undermine the warranty's value proposition.
Would I purchase their warranty again? No. Despite their good intentions and contract compliance, the lengthy repair process and associated costs make it a poor financial choice. For future appliance issues, I would opt to work directly with a local repair service for faster resolution and potentially lower overall costs.

THE BIGGEST disappointment ever... On Friday, 11/15, I got a delivery of a gas stove oven and a refrigerator by two men who DID NOT speak a word of English (I am an immigrant myself and am not racially biased.) I have neighbors who got appalled by what they had witnessed and will confirm.
The delivery men could not comprehend the rules of our coop development (delivery through the basement only, covering the item with a cardboard paper to prevent from possible damage to the unit or the hallway walls, THEY COULD NOT SPEAK!!!) As a result, they left a dent on the front panel of the refrigerator, scratched the entrance to the apartment and the kitchen (have pictures). The refrigerator is sliding back and forth from the niche and makes noise. I have contacted the store management who promised a replacement on 11/22. My complaint is against delivery company - their manager, Manuel, failed to answer my questions.
His response was, "What do you want, no one wants to do this job." ??? IT IS NOT MY BUSINESS!!! i paid money and purchased 8-year warranty for each item, and the store was very happy to get this big money from me.
No one takes pride in their job anymore... Who can help me before I extend this complaint to the CFPB level?

My LG washing machine had an error code. I had 5 technicians come to my house for one code, it's sad.
Finally, they decided to do an exchange. I went to pick up the latest LG washing machine. On the first day of use, the EZ dispense feature for the soap was not working. I called customer service and they sent a technician.
The technician stated it was working, but she lied. When using the machine, the soap still didn't dispense. I asked to speak to the Technician Manager, but they never returned my calls.
I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Do not buy your washer at PC Richard.

My landlord has all of my appliances under 10 year warranties.
My stove stopped working a month ago.
1st appointment- there repair guys called out after I was already home(took off of work) waiting.
2nd appointment- the guy replaced the wrong item. I once again took off of work.
3rd appointment- A guy came, took a visual look at the stove, did not even touch it, and said that he had already ordered a new control panel.
Once again, I had to take off of work for this 4 hour window. I was called the next day to say that the parts were in.
4th appointment- Lost $200 to take off of work on a Saturday for the 4 hour window of time.
I was called an hour into the 4 hour window to say that they had a problem getting one of the parts (the parts that supposedly arrived a week ago. I have now been on hold for over 45 minutes to speak to the Service Manager who is not getting on the phone because I am pissed off.

I have to return item, before issue can be resolved
I purchased a night owl security system from the store on Richmond avenue Staten island NY, they deliberately sold me one that was returned from another customer. Unfortunately I don't live in the US and I was returning home the following day and didn't have time to check it.
On my return to my country I opened it up and tried setting it up, only to find out the previous owner has a password lock on it and to make matters worse none of the 4 cameras are working. Now I'm stuck with a system that I can't return or use at all, this cost $272 US.

Ive had this refrigerator for 8-9 years and in this time Ive had many problems with this refrigerator. Ive called the repair man many times.
Ive had leaks, problems with it not getting cold, the fan being broken, ice machine being broken. Ive had this refrigerator not work for days at a time. Right now Im having problems with the ice machine and Ive called the repair man already and have had to replace parts many times over the years.
I would like to either get This fridge replaced or get store credit for the fridge. Thank you.

Had a really really bad experience at PC Richard Chelsea after years of spending tens of thousands at the Bellmore NY branch. This guy Sal in appliances got me all set up with all my kitchen replacement appliances and then it turned into a nightmare.
He asked me to write a reveiw before job was even delivered, delivery dates were missed on his end while I drove to the house and waited all day and missed work and then they left a dented dish washer at my house which is still here I do not think I have spent more in any store in my life and I am really sad about this experience.
If anyone from PC Richards actually reads any of this I would love to speak with someone. I am hoping the dishwasher gets credited to my account and I will turn to home depot to complete my needs.

I bought side by side fridge Frigidaire in July 2023. Three weeks ago I
smelled burning and heard strange sounds.
I plugged off my fridge. Then I made an appointment. Nobody comes by that time. I call again to customer service and rescheduled the mechanic visit.
He said the compressor was gone and customer service would call me about the decision. Nobody calls me back. I called again. The lady told me that the mechanic's report was different and she would call me back after a discussion with somebody.
Nobody calleddo me back.
